How many watt generator should i get?

I have a PC DA a bissle carpet cleaner and a 5hp shop vac. How many watt generator should i get to run my equipment 1 at a time?

machine amps times 120 is watts I believe . I can run a master blaster off a 2700/2400w generator . prob get a little bigger generator that what u top watts usage would be .

I have a 3500 watt rms Ridgid generator and it beasts everything from my steamer to polisher. When I had an extractor I even ran it off of it and it had no issues. I would say minimum would be 2-3k to be sure.

I have a 2k watt portable generator, one of those inverter generators.

And it can NOT handle the master blaster.
