My order of SIP and 87MC should be arriving this afternoon. How much product do I need to use on the pad compared to Optimum? I get the impression I shouldn't need much, if any more.
 
use like a typical polish. Maybe two small stripes to prime the pad, then around a quarter or so per panel. Your gonna be amazed at how these polishes finish down.
 
What are you using on your Corvette Scott?
 
I would agree with Killr on this one. Just like when you use the PC, no need to use extra exept for priming the pad. Once the pad is well primed your good to go.

I start with a fresh pad - one six inch line
from then on, I put a small blob on my finger and dab it over a 3 x 3 ft area, spread with machine off or use the quick fly over from right to left with left side of pad slightly raised to prevent splatter.

One small blob from there onwards. Sometimes thats too much for the typical work area so I do a larger area
