As you can see my plastic trim has stains on it. I have tried removing by scrubbing with a stiff brush and tooth brush using rubbing alcohol, dawn dish soap, APC, and super degreaser all to no avail. The stains "go away" (well hide is a better description) when I use a dressing such as Hyper Dressing or Meguiar's Natural Shine. But the come back after one or two washes. How can I permanently remove the stains to restore the black look?

The Mother's Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner is another one that works well. 1Z (Nextzett ) Plastic Vinyl Deep Cleaner Plastik Reiniger works well also.

Nuff said. They better never discontinue this stuff.

I'm worried too because I see it in less in less stores now. When I do see it I grab a bottle to stock up on it. I have probably 5 full bottles on the shelf. I don't care for the brush much and only use it on small narrow pieces. I brush it on with a stiff detailing brush and then I have had good luck scrubbing it with either a piece of that bug scrubber coarse foam block, some MF sponges that have lines of raised ribs of stiffer fibers that scrub well, and sometimes I will use a magic eraser.

I have kept the extra brushes to use when cleaning pads at the sink and as back up during polishing when I can't find either of my big orange pad cleaning brushes.

Those products are great for a quick fix but will come back as the product degrades. If its on the one flare buy a new one and a roll of tape so this doesn't happen again.

I just did inner fenders with "over spray" and dirt.

Very "un black".

Went right to laquer thinner.

Takes off everything (go easy when you see black on your shop towel).

Put on a little Black WOW and looks like new.
