What is the best way to clean this thing? APC then metal polish? It sees a lot of use and wanted to keep it looking nice. Have at it.
 
I believe there is a product from Flitz designed for stanless steel products.
 
I had a fun time keeping these clean on my original Datsun 240Z. Polish worked great but didn't last. When I restored her I ended up putting a coat of clear coat on exterior bowls and top of oil screw. Then it was just a wipe off with clean rag when checking the damper oil.
 
By the way I used Happich Simichrome Polish, but it is just a fine metal compound.
