Hi all,
Well, yesterday afternoon I made a stupid mistake and left my sunroof cracked for ventilation. As bad luck would have it, a storm came up and rain came through the space and the fabric on the headliner where it wicked the water around the space of the sunroof. Got home as fast as possible and dabbed as much water as I could with towels and even used a hair dryer to dry it out as best as I could. Left all the windows open overnight with the car parked in the garage. This morning I checked it and it looks not too bad but there may be a slight line where the water stopped.
My car is an eight month old 2011 Honda CRV-L.
What are your recommendations to clean this stain on the headliner? I have been very conservative with the cleaning and have used nothing other than what is described above. I have read that diluted Woolite or Meguirer's APC would be a good choice.
Thoughts? I am willing to do anything to get this back to looking almost new.
Thanks,
Ed
