How to make your white wall look like new!
Maintaining whites walls are always a pain. They seem to be road grime magnets, soon they are yellowed and dull. Many are worse than this.
The Initial process is much like that of any other tire and wheel. I Remove the wheel for the demonstration. I sprayed down the whole wheel with Megs wheels and tire cleaner.
After some light scrubbing with a terry cloth.
It looks much better. The white walls are still not good enough for me.
Here are some stains from the white wall.
After some scrubbing, it is gone. And now on to the real work. Grab some Simple Green and 400 grit sandpaper. Now get to work sanding. Use the simple green as your lubricant. Be very careful about not touching the black tire, it will make a mess of your whitewalls. After 1/8 is done, wipe down with the blue shop towels (they really are best for this, not worth wasting microfiber towels).
Final glamor shot in the sun.

Final notes:
Good Luck, Other methods are also appreciated.

Final notes:
- keep the white walls DRY!!!!!!!!!!! (can leave some unsightly stains.)
- Frequent maintenance is better (won't need to sand.)
