I'm usually just doing this by hand. Can anyone recommend a machine and technique to do small areas

Like this....

To buff out those areas you either do it by hand or either with a three inch polisher(groits garage) or a three inch backing plate on your standard six inch polisher

I use 4" pads for those areas with out any problems.

^ :props:

I'm looking at the video of the polisher I made right now that we shot over at TNOG today so coming soon and stay tuned.

Also, it did a great job at buffing 1500 sanding marks. I'll edit and upload the video for you all to see.

The tool I made would work great for this. Check out the video Ncs0816.

It's hazing the paint. The only problem I see is that a pad this small is not meant to be at those speeds. This is why we will never have a 2 inch polisher.

How can you see "hazing" in these pics?
meant to be at those speeds"?

Why would you say that "a pad this small is not meant to be at those speeds"?

There is already a 2" polisher from Rupes and Buff Daddy has three types of pads for it.

Incorrect. The rupes is a sander and not a polisher

tape if necessary and 3" pad with 2 7/8" backing plate on DA or rotary if the throw of a DA interferes with anything.
