How to Polish Enclosed Trailer Question?

Anyone have any suggestions on how to polish an enclosed trailer? I have a black one that had previous decals on it that were pulled off but now you can still see where those existed. I understand that you will probably always see a little bit of it but was trying to reduce it. I have the Rupes Mille and was planning on using that.

I just know this color aluminum sheeting is not like your typical car paint so wasn't sure what products/pads to use.

Thanks,

Which foam pad is recommended for the Mille to apply the 3D HD Speed product on the trailer?

Take a look at the links Lane posted.

Those types of trailers normally clean up easily. A medium foam pad should be all you need. You will need a fair amount of pads depending on trailer size. If you have Rupes pads yellow will probably be the one to use. As usual, a test spot will be your friend. Start least aggressive to most aggressive. I believe the paint on these trailers is quite thin so keep that in mind

HD Speed is a great product for the job.

That was my plan to start with the white foam pad or yellow foam pad. Haven’t got to use the Mille yet but hoping to try it out soon

I finally put the Mille to use for the first time and used HD Speed and I am very pleased. I tried the yellow pad but didn’t remove everything I wanted so I jumped up to the blue Mille pad and it worked flawlessly. Attached are a few photos but I plan to go over the entire trailer with the Mille white pad one more time

Re: How to Polish Enclosed Trailer Question?

Any suggestions on what to use to polish the bottom mirrored area?

Also, the front of the trailer that has diamond plating and also the aluminum fenders have grime from running down the road, any suggestions for that?
