I applied Quartz semi permanent about a year ago.
I want to remove it all and apply the cquartz permanent Are you having someone apply CQuartz Finest?
Will degreaser work? Or will I have to polish it off?
Thanks
What is CQuartz semi permanent and CQuartz permanent?
Good one! LOL..IMO any coating that will go the 2+ year mark would be considered permanent. One to two years would be semi permanent..no paint or coating will last forever, but in the detailing world the word permanent is used loosely.I can't speak for CQuartz but IMHO nothing is permanent.
There are two consumer versions. CQuartz and CQuartz UK.
The different versions (from what I understand) is for weather.
CQuartz UK is formulated to be applied in colder temperatures.
As far a "permanent" I understand CQF has a two year warranty.
That is not to say that CQF needs to be redone at the 2 year mark.
I have seen CQuartz Finest still beading & sheeting long after 2 years.
So back to your question. A finishing polish needs to be done for removal.
BTW - My wife got a "permanent". It cost me a fortune $$$. No longevity. (SIGH)
