Today morning i found out some yellow liquid on my car roof which looked like cat urine.
I washed the surfaced with Meg gold class shampoo and it removed the urine yellowing but the spots were left on the paint.

I tried to remove the spots with cleaner/wax and nothing was gone and then i tried Megs 205 with finishing pad and nothing was removed. I tried again megs 205 with a LC white polishing pad and the spots were still there.
Finally i used LC tangerine pad and SIP , some of the light sports were removed but some of the big ones were left.

The car is wearing 1 coat of WDGPS 3.0 and 1 coat of WG Fuzion that was applied back at December. Three weeks back i topped the car with Pinncale Souveran.

Any suggestions how to remove the itched spots?

From #### Answers:

Yes, cat and dog urine contains urinary acids which will damage paint. On modern water based paints, the damage can be quite severe if the urine is not washed off quickly. The same goes for bird droppings, which should not be 'scrubbed off' as it contains grit particles which can scratch the paint. Soak bird droppings with fresh water, and when softened, rinse off with more clean water.

So, you may need a more agressive compound

Re: How to removing cat urine?

Can't speak for cat urine, but we had a lab that would pee on the floor and strip the wax off of the floor where it ran....

May have stripped the wax where the urine ran, may have to do a 5 step on the area.....

I think pet urine is high in acid, but never tested it personally.....

Can you post some pictures of the area?

Good luck, keep us posted.
