I have a new Honda Pilot and somehow whoever was driving it got a little ink on the center console box..it is light gray leather and black ink. Does anyone know a method on how to get rid of the stain safely?

There's never one product that will do this 100% all the time, but here are a few to try out.....Hairspray, Goo Gone, and Rubbing Alcohol and clean cotton towels or cotton balls. please just be very careful in trying to remove this ink from that area.

Outside of what Angelo posted above, I have removed ink from seats with Optimum Power Clean before, if you have any of that. If not you could try another APC (diluted properly).

Yes, I agreed with on what DLB has mention about the Optimum Power Clean, it's is another choice to try out. let us know how it turn out and if you have any picture's please post them for everyone to see.

Fortunately with a Pilot you have a synthetic leather, not real leather so you don't need to worry about drying it out nearly as much as real leather. One caveat...the Pilot's synthetic leather has an exterior coating which can be easily rubbed off with harsh chemicals and minimal abrasion...so be careful with abrasives or when scrubbing.

I should clarify: That portion of the leather is synthetic...not all the leather in a pilot is synthetic.

I did a really nasty jeep that had leather seats. There was paint from paintballing, marker and pen all over. I used Megs apc in a test spot and it started pulling color out, tried a leather cleaner and didn't do anything. I decided to try Krud Kutter and it worked perfect. Made the seats look like new. I've seen people say don't use it on leather, but in my case it worked perfectly. If you go this route make sure you do a test spot first.

I know that on my clothes that, believe it or not, MILK!

I soak the pocket or whatever in milk and you can see the ink dissolving into the milk.

I was working on a Honda Odyssey last weekend that had ink on the headrest I believe, and while cleaning the seats with Optimum Power Clean the ink disappeared! I couldn't believe it!

I was planning to use this on the seat mentioned above but the Power Clean removed it so I didn't need to. I'm sure I'll use it one day.

OPC will more than likely take care of that. I deal with ink from pens in/on center consoles all the time and typically OPC and a good agitation removes them.

do you need to dilute powerclean in order for it to work safely on the leather?

According to mark and chris, no you dont. I usually use it at 3:1 with good results. Sometimes I even water it down more at around 10:1 on leather that isn't in horrible condition. I like to use the least amount of product possible because I'm cheap/frugal. Opc is an amazing cleaner. As with everything, try a hidden test spot first to see how it reacts.
