Hello guys!

So I have a hatchback and the back pirtion of the car gets dirty as hell. After doing a very good wash, using APC and claying, I still can see these very tiny dots of dirt that won't come out. I actually don't have much idea of where they came from, but they stand out on my white painting when I look closer. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

CarPro Iron X. Must have for such a problem. Tiny flakes of metal like rail dust on a new car become embedded in the paint.

That looks to be some sort of air contamination/fallout, use something like iron x then clay bar the area and shall get rid of those spots

That is road contamination, like oil/tar, used to see it all time when I had a white Lexus. You can remove it by claying but you have to work it and keep the surface well lubricated. I found that nano skin on a 3" polisher/backing plate works really well. This is one of the main uses for my 3" Griot. If you are going to try a clay bar again, you will want an aggressive clay.

I see what I call rust blooms that shows up every spring after salt and slurry is put on the roads,as others have said iron x will get rid of most of it and then clay
Also looks like some tar you could spot treat with tarx.

Thanks guys, I'll go for the Iron X like solution. Can I clay while Iron X is doing it's work?

I think it might degrade the clay. Rinse well, then clay.

No ,I spray the iron x on a washed panel ,then come back with a 1/2 a grout sponge and work it around, wait a few minutes then rinse and rewash, all that will be left is the tar specks, hit them with some tar remover and a make-up pad ,then dry, then clay.

Make sure you apply in the shade so the iron x doesn't dry onto surfaces
