Does anyone have any advise on how to remove tire dressing marks from a driveway? I used was the Poorboys tire dressing (which I highly recommend). As you are probably well aware the marks only show up when the driveway is wet.

Long story short I detailed a car at my inlaws and father-in-law is P.O.'s that he has marks/stains on his pristine driveway..............trying to keep the peace.

Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Feed back please

That's a great question for which I do not have an answer...I've got them all over my driveway. I never park in the same place twice. haha

you could always spray the entire driveway

Spray a citrus based APC on the stain, agitate with a brush, let it sit a two mins, and then power wash. If your asphalt driveway or concrete driveway is not sealed, it will be much more difficult to remove.

Could never understand people like that.... I like my driveway clean, but my wife does park on it everyday so it isn't going to stay pristine.

Anyway, you could try pressure washing it or a product called Pour'n'Restore (I got some at the local Ace Hardware store IIRC).

Pour and Restore removed food oil stains - that occurred whil grilling - from paving stones in my backyard. +1 on that

U ever try gunk? I think it's called engine bright
, just spray some on and let it sit for 10 min and power wash it. I worked for a repair that kept the floors cleaner then a hospital and we used it all the time but it honestly depends on what the drive way is made of or if it was sealed properly

I wish tire dressing lasted as long on the tire as it does on the driveway.

How much would you guys pay for a thin, rollable, vinyl, non-slip, ommercially sold driveway/garage mat which would reduce floor and ground stains from detailing?

That stuff soaks deep into concrete and asphalt. I have never been able to get it out.

There is some stuff calle DJ Concrete Cleaner but it is only sold by the 100lb barrel. This stuff is amazing. There is a guy named Denny that sells it in zip lock bags on ebay, try that if all else fails.
