Hi all,

I noticed this when I was dusting down the passenger side. It appears to be something from a ball point pen or a mar. It’s on a 2019 Toyota Sequoia leather seat. I did have some work done at the Toyota dealer a couple of days ago so I’m suspicious they did it. The leather is grey, picture makes it look like it's beige.

I tried Pinnacle Leather Cleaner but didn’t touch it. Any suggestions?

Thanks for any suggestions or help.

It does look like a ball point pen.

Old school aerosol hair spray on a qtip works well to remove it on many surfaces but be sure to test how it reacts with your particular leather on a part of the leather that isn't exposed.

Thanks for the reply. Any particular brand or a particular ingredient I should look for?

I believe it's just the ISO in it but it does work wonders....
I'd blot it vs wipe....but I think I might have needed to do this like 2 decades back....but it works well and easily to just wipe off.

Old school Aquanet aerosol is my choice. Also works great to glue bike/power sports grips on. But if your wife has any regular aerosol hairspray, it should work. Again, always try a test spot that is out of view in case it doesn't play well with the material.

The solvent does the breaking down of the ink and the goo from the hair spray suspends it.
