Hyper polish pad cleaning?

Okay guys what is the 411 on cleaning pads after using Hyper polish?
My normal routine is a bucket with D114 and a grit guard. I scrub the pad on the guard,squeeze and spin with PC.

I have SF4500, Menz 400, M100, M101, M205, Meguiars UC & UP and Hyper polish.
I just tried Hyper polish this weekend and threw the towel in after seeing this on my pad.

I had to repeatedly scrub just to get it to release the dirt. I took it in the house and used a dawn/era combo 3 times and was left with this.
I also used a blue light cut Hybrid with Hyper polish on headlights and still have a yellow border on it.

Not one of the above compound/polish has a problem releasing from any pad of mine( LC Hybrids, LC flats, Meguiar's microfiber cutting)

As long as it rinses clean, you should have nothing to worry about. I use Rupes Keramik on their yellow pads quite often, and even though they rinse clean the grey stains remain.

I rather live with the stains, than use too harsh a chemical, or cleaning process that could possibly harm the foam.
 
I was thinking along those lines. The color messes with my perception of clean.
It's not like I am the only OCD person here....lol

You can see on the pad my priming was sub par using the spray bottle.

I think what i will try is to pump the spray at a panel with a couple shots then dab the pad on it before I hit the switch.
That also would keep it near the surface and not leeched into the pad. Or at least I am hoping.

I have super clean, purple power and zep industrial purple. I will give it a shot
 
Might be time to pick up some power clean

I use XMT Polishing Pad Cleaner [Mckees's Polishing Pad Cleaner] to clean my pads. If there ever was such thing as "too harsh a chemical" this is it! It honestly smells like it would be more hazardous than Wheel Brightener and a color changing, iron removing wheel cleaner put together. But boy does it work! [and it doesn't ruin the pads] I just make sure to use it outdoors and wear gloves and a mask.

Easily cleans any polish/compound off pads. Just make sure not to breath in the fumes.

I have been using hyper polish for years. Both versions stain pads. As long as it rinses clean, your fine. I also don't recommend using dish soap to wash pads because it takes Forever to completely rinse out.
 
From what I've heard, they stain pads, but you are ok as long as you've removed the product, you are good. as far as the color... Who knows...

Why do they put the coloring anyways? is it that necessary?
