well I tried to tell him before I started filming how to do it correctly, but he wouldn't listen me. And I knew he would get mad if I filmed me criticizing him so I tricked him.

Well first thing he can do is throw out the towels in his back pocket he was dragging on the ground in the garage when " buffing" the paint. What does he have there Walmart cleaning towels?

I feel so bad for that car. Use less product work SOOOOO MUCH slower , work in a 2 by 2 foot area only.. didn't break down anything, didn't clean anything just hazed the paint. Tell him to hire someone that is gonna love his paint better than him ..LOL

no that #### on the windshield is dry POLISH FROM DOING THE HOOD 6 TIMES. HE WONT LISTEN TO ME. Im going to show him this later. I LOVE CARS especially rsx's I will post pics of the g35 coupe I detailed before I invited my friend over, I used threads from this website to guide me which is how I know about this forum.

Your friend is risking paint damage due to his lack of care with the swinging cord that keeps smacking into the very paint he is trying to correct. No point in correcting paint just to mess it up with the cord.

The wipe off of that compound looks like too much effort looks like the compound is sticking to the paint
Wrong choice of compound in my opinion. If it was me I would use foam and a polishing compound on that soft paint

I don't think your friend will ever listen. I feel your pain on the car. I don't think he will try to change because detailing takes time and most people don't want to spent time doing the work. People want the work to be fast and easy.

You should give him a cleanser wax that way it's fast and safe.

I tell my friends about taking care of their car but they never listen. They say like "it's just a car" they love their cars but they don't want to spent time taking care of the car.
