Even though I have family there lol. I have some Commercial projects out there....that has to be the most ass backwards state, how Real Estate deals even close there is beyond me. Attorney states are a pain in the arse already, nevermind the funky laws that GA has, contracts that aren't specific, legal jargon too 50/50. I paid to have one of my clients business aritcles expedited...well days later "why oh' yes sir it is not finished yet"...well get on the damn computer and input the information, takes 5 minutes jeeze and was supposed to be done in 24 hours, I didn't pay for expedite status and overnight shipping days ago for no reason...any other state has this done in a day or so, FL generally same day. Uggh, that state has issues...

Maybe the Redneck translator was out on vacation.

***I am by no means insinuating people who live in Georgia are rednecks*** :p

I don't know if it's a Georgia thing or Winder, GA (City) thing but there are two things that can't be registered under a home based buisness in GA...

1. Automobile Mechanic
2. Automobile Detailer < ?

I read this somewhere let me go find it!

One of the Commercial projects has been held up for 3 weeks now b/c the state doesn't know what its doing. Certain documents have to be files for a business at a set time durring a Real Estate trans action with them etc...well screws everything up as it's postponed the closing. Paid to have other stuff expedited...didn't seem to help, idiots. It's a foreign entity business being it's being moved up to GA from Florida operations.....you know how many people at stated level said "whats foreign entity for?"

Might as well smack my head against a brick wall

My parents didn't have any problems buying there home there. Everything went pretty smooth for them. Sucks when you pay for faster service and it end up taking longer then normal service.

I do mainly Commercial which in itself is a completley different animal from residential.

They just built a new one across from my office:D...they always seem to have the freshest draft beer.

Now I had to pay for and send the Cert Form for Good Standing he has in FL. He already sent that in with the package for filed articles, I have proof of it...some idgit in the GA State Office must have lost it, I swear....I'm going to beat somebody up there
