real words that Kaizen is made up of is:
Gai = The action to correct
San = good, or for the better

"Kaizen" is used a lot in Six Sigma problem Solving methodology... soething the Japanese OE's have precticed for quite some time and the American OE's have just caught onto in the past 10 years or so.

Wow no wonder the technology in JApan is growing so rapidly. I see that they have cell phones that have live camera feeds so you can see the person you're talking to, and they can see you as well!

Their robots are pretty amazing too as you can see right here YouTube - Japanese amazing robots

I lived in Japan (military brat), and the people there are very polite. I really like it there and I wish America was the same way. Sure it's harder to live there, but it sure is a great place to visit. I would want to live there permanently.

Yes, overpriced. In $100K-ish price range you had / have many more powerfull, more luxurious, and better build quality options than 220 ft-lbs 3 liter V6.

88k and that was negotiable. Try that with an exotic. Examples of cars in that time period even close to the price with that kind of build quality.

Yes, outdated, from an engineering perspective. We all know prices of pretty things are not directly proportional to logic. Technology passed it very early on in it's production life. It didn't get 6-speed manual until '97. Automatic version was so much lower rated it makes you wonder why. Etc.

Who *really* drives an automatic sports car? There's tech in the NSX that still is rarely found in cars made today. You could also count the cars using your fingers that had 6 speed tranny's in that day.

It is incredible Honda managed to milk it this long because many other cars that also looked beautiful, and were even better technology than NSX, but came too late and were passed on real quick, flopped on the market.

Name them.

But yes, it looks beautiful. However, if I am going to buy a car for a beauty only there are many other cars out there that cause even more oohs and ahhhs for same or similar money.

Again I say name them.

97+ were 3.2.
I agree that by 97 there should hv been more power and by 2002 more again. Still a very dependable and attractive car. Well balanced and I hv yet to find a car with a better fwd view. Actually the rear view was very good compared to other mid-engine cars.
Add a SC to a 97 and you are approaching 400 ponies. Not bad for such a light car.
Just wish Honda had followed up with something in this range of car for today.
