All the know how and knowledge sharing in 1 place! I am just so grateful!

The help, hospitality and generosity from all the members too

I like the humorous side too :D

Side Note: not sure if hospitality and generosity are somewhat the same

:iagree:
I enjoy the shared info, hospitality and the humor, I've learned so much since I've been here.
I scan the forum at least once a day picking up tips and info, heck if it wasn't for the search button I would drive everyone nutz with questions.

This forum does seem to have a negative effect on my credit card ?

Agree about the wallet drain, too. Lmao.

I tend to buy a fair amount of items from the site over the last few years but there are times when I just need a couple items and when I go to check out I see the cost of shipping and decide to go else where. would love to give all my business to AG but there are times when paying too high for shipping forces me to go else where. wish they had a cheaper option for small orders.

Don't take this wrong but maybe you can plan out future orders by "making due" with what you have until the time comes where you can meet there minimum order to receive the free shipping specials, along with the discount they may have at the time.

They're free shipping minimum is a little high. I can see $75 or so but $150. Whoo! At least they usually have a discount code but it doesn't cover all of the shipping.

Same here. I have been frequenting this forum for almost 3 years now. While I am a handyman around the house and many of those skills transferred to detailing in some way (along with my "do it right the first time" nature), my auto detailing knowledge went from "infantile" to "very well aware" to say the least.

The unique nature of this forum not duplicated in many other web-based forums is the abundance of assistance, extremely low drama and egos. A number of things tell me this is simply part of the DNA for the auto detailing community.

I plan on a big buy most years in the spring or around this time, but having to buy so much in previous years I really don't have need for a ton of stuff. I agree $75 would be a better starting point for free shipping. a lower flat rate would be better option. I ended up getting the one item I really needed with free shipping off of Amazon reluctantly. they have it free after you meet a 35 dollar level.

just want to say that I love the forum, tons of info, lots of friendly people. just making a suggestion to make it better.

Fist time I discovered AG they were running $50 free ship. I thought that was great. I understand that adjustments had to be made due to economy, etc.

How about $50 stays and put a cap on weight - not exceeding 10 lbs to qualify for free ship, for example.

That way AG doesn't have to foot big bills for the gallon stuff, and more enticing for folks that want to pick up a few items to try.
