I need a hug!!

My brother came over today and I/we spent over 5 hrs on his paint. I used Megs #80 Speed Glaze with a Sonus Restore pad, then topped with WG Sealant. Its a black Dodge Ram. It was looking so sweet by the way. This is no lie, just as we were wiping off the last of the WG it come a downpour. Thankfully we were under my carport. But we were so bummed that he had to drive it home in the rain. Thanks for listening!! I wanted to share with my fellow geeks who would understand our agony!!

:grouphug: that is so true. Detailing a car brings, rain, birds, animals and lawn guys with leaf blowers. :(
 
Its true....

Its been extremely dry in NY for the past month.. yesterday I used the new DP sealant on my van and it rained..... Go figure.... then I got a bird poop on my hood....
Murphy's Law... thats what happens when you have an Irish wife... ha!!

Or it won't rain, then when you get on the road it rains for only like a half a mile and ruins all your hard work and the rest of the ride the sun is shinning.:mad:

Look on the bright side ...could have been worse, a family of birds could have made a pit stop on the hood of the truck after detailing it.:p
 
Similar thing happened to me at the weekend just finished with the swirl remover on my mates car and the heavens opened so he's now got a car with no swirls but also no protection yet.

A handful of days ago I had just finished doing a full interior detail and an exterior wash. The very next morning when I got out there to take my son to work, the windshield and car's hood and roof were covered with dirty cat paw prints! When I did the hood test on my car the other day I noticed a faint scratch on my hood as well that I never saw before. I wouldn't be suprised if it was from the claws of one of those stupid stray cats! I need to get me a car cover ASAP!

No offense to any cat lovers, but I would have to do a late night stake out with the pellet gun!!
