If anyone here knows how to do graphic design and is good with this particular stuff please send them my direction. I have never had a logo in the 2 decades I have been detailing. I have always thought about it but never could really think of a design. Any help is much appreciated TIA!

I think with a name like Delegance Detailing I would just use a fancy font. Look how it works for major companies many of them detail related. Meguiar's is a perfect example. No logo just a very recognizable cursive font.

Cadillac had a D'Elegance edition to numerous models. You could use the Cadillac style cursive font. I like simple designs and nothing is more simple than just your name.

And if you really want a logo you could go with a Cadillac style coat of arms/wreath logo. I hope your detailing company is Delegance Detailing:)

I worked with a great graphic designer and told her not to focus on modern designs, but classic and incorporate what clients the business caters too.

My logo accents that my customers car doesn't have to be a "high-line" car, and actually has a more classic look to it.
She put the large circles around it to indicate, that there is a motion of cleanliness that happens (i.e. DA polisher) and also the little shiny spot indicating "it's clean!"

Working with a great graphic artist can add little points to a logo to describe your business that otherwise would be missed.

Good luck!

Sometimes simple is better... especially with a name like Delegance....

Quick rough first draft. I'm still looking for that perfect script font though.

shouldn't 'Delegance' have an apostrophe after the 'D'?

Thank you so much sir! And yes I do have a business card that currently has a decent font style imho. Here it is just for viewing. I try to be as elegant as possible. Again I try lol. Oh and yes that is my business name :)

You know its funny you mention that because this is my issue. I can't decide whether or not to either make it a retro classic look or something more modern. Mind you this brainstorm has been going on for almost 2 decades now lol. But nice design on your particular logo.

Wow you guys are pretty damn good! And due to the forum board stipulations I could not add the apostrophe in my name. It is suppose to be D'elegance Detailing

Yes sir. See above reply to previous quote.
I'd suggest something more like this...

Nice!

And yes, the apostrophe is missing. Remember that part where I said "quick" and "rough" and "draft"
lol no worries and I did not mean to cause confusion with my name. The forum made me do it lmao
I like that.....classy and not overstated

I have to agree with you too!
