I have a Rotary Buffer that has speed 1000 - 3000 rpm but the speed is from 1 to 6. How do I know what number is what rpm? This is confusing me. Help here and sorry for the NOOB question

Assuming that the speed and the setting have a linear relationship

1=1000
2=1400
3=1800
4=2200
5=2600
6=3000

What make and model of rotary do you have? Is there not a scale of sorts on it such as this?

the RPM is from 1000 to 3000 so It can't have 600 rpm. I believe is the first list. I got a Neiko 7" Polisher. It's my first and it was cheap so I bought it and it works fine for the moment.

Once I posted I saw the previous post, The scale I posted was just an example. Glad you got it figured out.

Lucian note that the example scale that tuscarora listed is not linear so the values I listed may not be correct. I would look for the table online for your polisher. I would only use what I provided as a guide if you are not able to find anything.

I tried looking for my polisher guide and found nothing, so thnx
