I started polishing..then... it starts raining...

I polished the hood and then it starts raining out of nowhere. I washed it very good, clayed it, etc. It was a beautiful day and then bam. I had no wax on the car at all, of course.

What now? Do I rewash it tomorrow or just dry it off after the rain and continue polishing?
 
Do you have any waterless wash? Even a quick detailer would work if it's all you have, since your polishing.
 
Nearest auto parts store? Than you're probably going to have to do a full wash, which is fine just going to take a little longer than the other options.

Yeah I'm going to run out and get some real quick.
 
Sounds like you have a plan. But after cleaning off the paint again, check the paint for contaminants before you start polishing again. You never know what was left on the surface.
