So last week I get a call from a lady that works at the local Edward Jones investment office that I dropped some cards off at. Her "other" job is saving animals and they end up riding in her 2001 Saturn (can you see where this is headed)?

Well today, I had some free time and she wanted me to work on it from her lunch hour until she got off at 4pm. We agreed that it would get a full interior detail and I would charge the regular full detail price, which includes the 1 step buff, clay, wash, vac, windows, etc.

Time to complete: 3.5 hours

Payment: $130

Products used:

5 hp/4 gallon Craftsman Clean N Carry wet/dry vac
about 25 oz of a 32oz bottle of 303 spot remover
Woolite/Water 1:8
Optimum protectant plus
Stoner invisible glass aerosol with a sonus yellow glass towel
Various brushes and a ton of elbow grease

The before pics are scary, I'm, warning you that if you ate recently, you might throw up. The afters were taken in the garage because it was pouring out, sorry.

This pic is just of the florr area, seat obviously not done, and keep in mind a lot of these stains were urine and things that have been there for a lonng time, so I did my best not having an extractor.

Awesome! Did you use 303 on the seats?

Holy crap!! Doesn't that just piss you off!?? :D
Great job with that interior. Probably have sore arms now.

Yep, sure did, and though it doesn't *really* foam, it does just enough that I had to drench a small area (say 5x5") with a spray bottle of water and then quickly vaccum up the water and the little bit of foam. Otherwise, the seats would dry course. Kind of stinks that the 303 spot remover is 8 bucks a bottle and I used almost the whole thing. :( Oh well, for every one like this, there's other cars where I'm sure I'll only use 10 oz or so.

Lol thanks Al. Whatever was growing in the rugs, went up my nose or something because my alleriges are driving me up the wall now. hehe

I give her credit because she works with the pet shelter non profitly. And uses her own vehicle to transport these homeless pets. As long as she "attempts" to keep it decent, I'll be happy haha.

Haha yeah literally a orange peel, and about 3 bucks in change...most of which were "embedded" into the carpet...literally, there were dog biscuits, pennies, you name it embedded into the carpets. Almost comical, the owner and I were laughing about what I found in there....

Dude that's crazy...who could drive that thing!

Seriously though that things was nasty...urine....an orange....wow just nasty.

You did a wicked, I'm starting to enjoy detailing the interior just as much as the paint now. I love the transformation that the interior goes through...and that is one major transformation...I'll call it Pimp my interior hahahaha.

Good job buddy, that 303 seems like really good stuff.

pretty dirty nimble but i think scotwax recent post on Topia might have you beat by a chip or two lol..he said the car was so bad he had to shower afterwards to get the stench off him..now thats nasty

Lol Joe, I did the same thing I SCRUBBED myself in the shower. I was gross hehe.

Yeah Nica, the 303 works pretty good, I just need to get it in larger sizes hehe. Save some pennies you know? ;)

Eeeeewwwww!!!! That's nasty! Dogs, and cats in the car. Some people just don't care. Did the interior stink? I bet she didn't care, huh?

Buy the way, nice job!

I'm amazed at how clean you got the car, especially without an extractor! Kudos to you! :applause:

Thanks for the nice comments guys, I did my best haha!

Nice work Nimble.

Have you ever tried Folex before? If so, how do you compare against 303 spot remover? I just bought a gallon of Folex for $15 (after I used up the 32oz's I had earlier), but I want to possibly find something a little stronger such as 303 or WG's spot remover. Any input?

Hmm can't say I've tried the Folex, but at $15 a gallon, that's a good price. Do you get the gallon locally? So far, I like the 303, but I know there's better out there, I just need to try some different ones.
