First off, I have had this product for quite some time. My first experience was on a light metallic blue Honda Odyssey(2008) and it worked quite well. I then tried it on my personal car and had issues with dusting. Perplexed, I stopped and continued with PB's Polish w/ Sealant for the remainder of the detail. The bottle of XMT 360 then sat for quite some time on my shelf. Frustrated, I tried it again on my work truck, again with heavy dusting. So, I researched the problem and decided that the light polishing pads and my Cyclo were the culprit. I switched to finishing pads on my Cyclo (white) and tried today on my wife's CR-V and the product performed flawlessly. (light correction and a vast improvement in gloss). Pictures to follow this weekend after the rains subside (in Maryland)

I just ordered the xmt360 on BOGO, definitely excited to try it!

My BOGO order of the XMT360 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and I am hoping to get a chance to try it out on the wife's 01' Grand Cherokee this weekend. :buffing:

I think its a rather nice AIO ... I often suggest it or Optimums Optiseal for those looking for a do it all in one bottle type product.

i just got optimum poliseal and truly love it!!! xmt 360 is great too!!!!:xyxthumbs:

Scott,
Did you mean OptiSeal or PoliSeal?

How long will PoliSeal protect as an AIO?

I have always had good results using XMT 360 w/ an orange pad. I have been thinking about using it w/ a tangerine hydro-tech pad, as I really like using these pads. Not to thread hijack, but has anyone used this combo before? How were the results?

I also just made my first XMT360 purchase on BOGO too. I've been using Meg's D151 with good results, and Griot's One Step Sealant with excellent results. I can't wait to use the 360 this weekend!

When using an orange pad, do you see as good of results as you would if you went with the white pad?

Sounds like several of us will be trying the 360 this weekend. I was thinking white pad for my PC...good choice?

360 is pad dependant so you can adjust the desired level of cut .When I used it I normally used an orange pad and it worked great. I have replaced it since with Megs D151 as it was more cost effective and cut faster . But I really did like the 360 and it is a great paint cleaner.

My experience and my initial bad experience with XMT360 was with using (green) light polishing pads on my Cyclo. I do not know if it was the power of the Cyclo or the pads ,but I had dusting with XMT360. All of this was rectified when I switched to (white) finishing pads. I may have lost a little in correction ability, but the product worked flawlessly with this combo. Perhaps with a PC (and adjustable speed) different combos would work with XMT360.

360 is a great product, if you haven't tried it out yet give it a try. I use it by hand and with polisher and I love working with it.

I have used it with Rotary ,PC and a Flex and never any dusting. You just work it until it disappears . Sounds like you may have used to much or worked it to long.
