I washed my car yesterday via 2BM, and used Liquid Sovereign Spray Wax for the first time. Today, I woke up to a white sand-like dust on the top of my car, and in my window trim as well. There was also some of what seemed to be ash as well.

I QD'd the roof of the car, so everything is fine, but I'm wondering what happened? Coincidence? It was really windy this morning, and there is construction nearby. I'm thinking that is not the case.

I'm assuming it was the combination of me overusing a new (to me) product and FL weather. Any thoughts?

Had to be from fallout somewhere near.

I should have checked other cars near, but I only looked at mine and my wife's. Both had the same dusting, and I washed both cars yesterday.

I didn't think I used a lot of product, so who knows? Honestly, it's the white dust/sand that's in the window trim that made me think I used too much product.

From where I'm sitting:
It's air pollution, not the product.

Sand...in Florida? C'mon. :)

Lol, you're right. But I've lived here 10 years, and this is the first time I actually noticed this happening. I described it as sand-like, but it's very fine. Very odd that this is the first time I paid attention and noticed it. It was just poor timing I guess.

This behavior is one of the outward signs of your addiction

Things that you never noticed or never bothered you are now ALL you see
