During a quick stop at my local Sam's Club I noticed a crowd of people gathering around the end of the produce aisle near the small appliances. I walked by and noticed a salesman doing a demonstration of IBIZ car products. I didn't have time to stay but what I heard sounded pretty legit. He stated their kit, which included a wax, wash and wax, waterless wash and metal polish, would stop acid rain, water spots etc....and then I heard it would remove spiderwebbing......Oh boy did I want to stop and ask questions about abrasives and how to apply it etc...Too bad I was in a hurry, but I plan on stopping again next weekend. Hopefully he is there.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has seen this demonstration?

I've never heard of them but from a quick search they are no better than turtle wax and armor all.

I think the Ibiz stuff was/is a favorite of Corvette guys - which seems like a match made in heaven to me. I've never used it, but looked at it on eBay once... I recall they were selling a waterless wash that was approaching crazy Croftgate prices... Don't think it's better than Pinnacle or UWW+ which is a few pennies an ounce...

My gut tells me it's not as good as Pinnacle, BlackFire, Wolfgang, etc...

Where's their Mike Phillips or Todd Helme? What detailing forums is Ibiz on and who is reviewing and critiquing their abrasive technology? What pros are using Ibiz? What legendary LSP does Ibiz make that competes with Souverän, Midnight Sun, or BFWD?

I think if the stuff was any good and priced competitively one of these detail retailers would be hawking it by now and we would of heard more about it. I see companies like this as selling fair to midland products for high prices to people who aren't internet savvy, or who just aren't interested enough to explore other options... I think if they had to compete for shelf space at AG - Ibiz would get crushed.

I was amazed at the amount of people listening to this demonstration. I was thinking do I hand out my business cards? lol

Must of been 20 people or so

•I remember that AGO forum member Bill1234
was a huge IBIZ fan when he first joined up.

•For a while:
He started quite a few threads attesting to that fact.

•Perhaps he can share his current fandom
with this product line.

I used Ibiz ions ago back when carnuaba was king and diapers were the proper way to wipe down your car. It really wasn't anything special.

I then switched to Pinnacle Souveran and never looked back.

Years ago a salesman for IBIZ was at a home show that my wife and I were attending. I bought some polish and wax and as some have said nothing special.
The salesman was touting that the Corvette or Classic Car group in Hershey, PA. made IBIZ their official product.

Also bump into one of these live infomericals being a non smoker I had to leave she was blowing more smoke than my lungs could handle.:buffing:

My Mom and her significant other saw the demonstration at Costco, and he went for it. Those two slathered it all over her car... Man, it was a nightmare... This was about two or so years ago. I've always maintained her vehicles, and was surprised they even bothered. Any how, I've personally never seen or used the product. All I know know is that her car is wearing ColorX, and will be receiving a coat of M26.
