Hello everyone. Today I tackled the task of finally painting my Z's door handles black to match the rest of the black accents I have done. When complete, I noticed how terrible the B Pillars looked and knew I had to do something about it. The handles are a glossy black and the pillars didn't match so the break up between the two was enough to drive me crazy. Now they both shine good. Tomorrow I may wet sand and buff the handles since there is some orange peel from the clear.

Products used:
- GG 3" Polisher
- Megs MF Pad
- HD Speed

Thank you. I did that exact dance when I was done. Haha 😂

Nice! Really great work on the b-pillars. Are you going to add sealant for a little more protection? Seems like these shiny painted b-pillars on a lot of cars are very susceptible to scratches and spotting.

What did you use to paint your door handles?

Your window trim strips look great, too. What do you use on them?

I did apply some CG Top Coat Sealant on them.

I used a plastic primer then a few coats of black wheel paint followed by a couple coats of clear. The wheel paint is a heavier duty paint that "in my mind" will resist chipping better.

In regards to the trim, I use HD Protect on all my rubber and vinyl except tires.

Thanks for the positive comments :)
