If you guys have never heard of Paul Dalton...here's one of his latest videos. This guy is bonkers when it comes to auto detailing...he's the guy that put me on to auto detailing and ultimately led me to AG's youtube channel some how.

Oh yeah...I know he charges an astronomical price. His skills are crazy nice thought.

his customers certainly have the coin. i much prefer mini vans with liquid gummy bears embedded in carpet jobs. ha

he is just hyped in the UK.....

Well...I don't know they hype, just seen his video's. I think his work speaks for himself. And for him to have a wax formulated for him through Siwssvax, then I'd say he's pretty good at what he does.

OK. It looks good but no better than the results I see from the guys here on AG. 10G's, really? That's rape.

His customers seem to have the money to drop for his type of work. But yeah...I'd never pay 10g's

Paul definitely knows how to market himself, which is what really separates him from the others. ;)

Now I'm relying on a fairly weak memory, plus it's from years ago. I beleive that he does not want his customers touching bird droppings, yet wants them to call him. He will drive to them to remove. Pretty sure that's what he said. For that you better pay some premium.
Plus, he was the first to enter paint gauge depth readings into a computer program.
IMO, he is good for the profession. His actions can only bring more $$ and respect to the profession.

I'm with Flash, who is this guy? That car looks great for one of his first polish jobs, too bad he left a few swirl marks on the back left wheel.

Never heard of him before this thread so i check out his site. Looks like the top services he offers is around $2500 usd. Says 2-4 days work time.

He has worked on some very nice cars. go through the media section of his site and read some of the press clippings.

I agree that we have some fellow members that do the same quality of work. He got into a click and that helped him tremendously. He branded himself and his work very well.

Paul Daulton is the greatest icon of his sport. He is like the Wilt Chamberlain of Detailing! In all seriousness, he has set the benchmark we can all learn from.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't really see any "after" video of the roof. I couldn't tell what those lines were in both the front and rear of the roof, but that's one thing that bothers me; when someone shows a really close shot of a flaw, but then the afters of that same spot are either missing or from five feet away. I don't doubt he corrected those spots, but with how much he conentrated on them in the "before" video, you'd think he'd showcase them in the after.

I would say his work is impressive, but I honestly don't think it's beyond what many on this forum produce every day. His stuff all seems a bit pretentious.

I know plenty of detailer's in the states that could give Paul a run for his money .Just as Chad mentioned he know's how to market himself take a look at Mike Phillips work and lets not forget AG's new addition Todd Helme I feel both are on par if not better then Paul in some area's . I've had the pleasure to work on some projects with both of them both are awesome teachers and are true artist's when it comes to paint correction .

I never said he was better than anyone...especially on here. Indeed Paul has definitely marketed himself. I think his work is great...never said he was the best detailer in the world. I admire his work, which was ultimately what led me to detail cars. I just thought I'd share the video as everyone here seems to share the same passion for cars.

Thanks for sharing Alko...there is always something to learn, specially from an experienced guy like Paul, why not?
