So I ordered my buddy Hectour the IK Foam Pro2 as well as a bottle of P&S Brake Buster for his upcoming 40th birthday and was informed via the great customer service at AutoGeek (thanks again Marquez!) about this. Also, Marquez sent out my gallon of Brake Buster to my house so I can get it wrapped for his birthday, then, when the new shipment of sprayers comes in, they're going to send it to him directly, once again, GREAT customer service from AG! It appears the BO is about 2-3 weeks out but don't be detoured by this, this sprayer is worth the upgrade if you already have the IK 1.5 and FOR SURE worth it if this is your first forte into this amazing detailing tool:xyxthumbs:

What's the difference between original and 2?

Well, there's a couple things:

-more useable capacity, 35 oz vs. 50 oz
-non tipable base
-locking trigger
-built in storage in the handle
-indentations where the sprayer and base meet, easier to unscrew

Like the others, comes with 3 tips and a pack of filters. The filters can be taken out and cleaned if the foam pattern gets compromised. These are outstanding tools to make our lives better

Don’t think any of the other options are worth upgrading (never tipped over... don’t hold trigger down for long.... storage in handle?.... )

BUT the extra 15oz would be worth it. Not to hold more liquid but to build more pressure. Might have to order a sprayer for sure. Maybe foamer for Ammo frothe.

Well...its half the cost of the AMMO NYC foamer, trust me, I know all too well, LOL. I mean it's a nice piece but others can learn from me I guess

Oh it's related and yes, still love it, especially after upgrading the battery pack to the 4.0v, now I have it as well as the 2.0v. John from Forensic Detailing called it a "pea shooter" in response to me talking about in one of his vids monthes and monthes ago. That said, without it, I don't know what I would do

Awesome.

Great info. John can take it in the "pee shooter". ;P

Nah, he's cool but people just need to understand what the Worx can and can't do, that's all

Indentations is good. Storage in the handle for tips?

I was just kidding, but you are spot on.

All tools are designed with parameters.

It's when people expect more from a tool than it is capable of is when the crying starts. ;)

I like the IK foam pro 2, though I've only tried Brake Buster in it. I like it better with the wet foam nozzle best. One thing I never hear is the click you are supposed to hear when the pressure is supposed to be maxed out. Regardless, I think it works great and don't mind if I need to pump a few extra times. I also have a hydroshot and like it for what I use it for. Will the new larger batteries work with the earlier small battery model? I was eventually going to purchase a second battery, but heck I'll order the larger battery if it will work.

The frothe foamer produces much thicker foam with AMMO Frothe than the IK does with frothe. The only foamer that I am aware of that produces foam almost as thick is the Griots foamer, which is actually the same Italian made sprayer, but with different filters in the head.

Yes....I have the 4.0v upgrade bought through Worx themselves.

I tried griots and ik foamer. Give it another shot with which ever tip is the dry one. Better than Griots. I was gonna buy Ammo’s but for $60 dollars thought I’d try th IK first and then if I didn’t like would use for something else and buy ammo’s.

Wasn’t a fan at first with medium tip as foam was too runny and used ALOT of product. Once a tried dry tip I was all good. I’m sure Larry’s foamer is better but happy with the IK combo.

No I meant the IK. I’m satisfied with the 1.5 I have now.... just wish it would hold more pressure when 2/3 full. I’m gonna give brake buster a try as you seem to be using it more over the AF. I don’t let my wheels get to dirty so figure it should be good. Already got an ik foamer for wheels. Just trying to find use for my one I’m using for ammo to justify ordering another foamer

I’m thinking hydro shot for cleaning wheels when I waterless, still like to bucket wash wheels with amount of dust and dirt they see. Can you narrow and widen spray pattern.m?

Yes, it has an adjustable spray head. I bought my Worx originally for the wheels but when I saw that it has enough pressure to rinse the soap off of my car i was then able to enjoy the world of 2BM washes again! It's been pretty dry here lately and I haven't done a 2BM in quite some time, so doing a foaming with my IK Foam 9, dwell and rinse with my Worx has been great and ofcoarse the cleaning of the wells, tires and wheels with it. I always use the wide spray pattern, never have seen a need to use anything else but everyone is different.

If you do buy one look into the 4.0v upgrade, not only does the battery last twice as long but you get a little more power as well. In closing the Worx is great for when you go in the road too, cleaning can be done anywhere with a bucket(s) of water and your Worx
