IK foamer 12 worth it?

I've been on the fence with getting a sprayer or foamer. I exclusively will do rinseless and waterless washes due to no hose and living in an apartment.

I currently will fill multiple spray bottles with my solution (use N914 or Ech2o), one bucket with solution and multiple MF towels in the bucket. Never reusing any of the towels.

I spray and scrub wheels and tires and the use tire dedicated towels.

I spray and presoak each panel prior to wiping with a MF towel.

Would I really benefit from a IK12 foamer? I already have a air compressor. But live in in apartment with limited storage space. I don't detail professionally and do my car and some family vehicles.

Rather than filling multiple spray bottles with your solution, consider one of the HDX pump sprayers that they sell at Home Depot. I got tired of using spray bottles, and you can get the one gallon size reasonably priced, and it will not take up much room. I have a small IK foamer and a Form Pro 12...love them both. I have a compressor, but its just as easy to charge the Foam Pro 12 using my little Ryobi battery powered inflator. There are also a handful of battery powered sprayers and foamers out there, if you're willing to part with the coin.

I love the IK foam Pro 12. Charging it is simple...I have mine loaded with Bilt Hamber Touchless at 4% PIR (25 to 1)....and use it for a presoak on coated vehicles. In my experience, it's worked very well for that task. Here's a link for the HDX sprayers I use. There are times during the year, typically at or closer to the end of the summer, where they are marked down to 9.00

If you’re strictly doing rinseless washes I’d do what briarpatch does which is what I also do. A one gallon pump sprayer will give you enough rinseless solution to do a pre-rinse on your car and I still have plenty left over to rinse my tires after I clean them. I did eventually upgrade from a pump sprayer to a Ryobi two gallon sprayer since I already had a lot of spare batteries from old lawn care equipment. I had the Foam Pro 12 but I actually like using the Ryobi much more since there is no charging involved. Just turn it on and I’m good to go for the duration of the wash.

They blocked my link to the HDX sprayers....but just go to Home Depot website and search HDX sprayers. I actually have one of the Ryobi sprayers too...I use mine to spray our shrubs in the yard with deer repellent....works awesome. I'd give you a link to the one I have.....but that would probably get blocked also.

I bought this for weed spraying larger areas and have been very impressed with the consistency of it's performance. The batteries are like a Milwaukee M12 and give over 2.5hrs of run time.

Another option for you would be something offered by your chosen battery system. For example, we have a Makita 18v spray at work. Ryobi and Milwaukee offer them as well.

The Foam pro 12 is a nice product but I don’t think foaming 914 is worth it. I love mine for snow foaming BHAF before a bucket wash.

I would like to eventually get one for Ammo Frothe. Might be worth it if you move to a foaming waterless like Frothe or Adams product.
