I'll never catch up...

I was a fairly active member, and voracious reader here for most of last year. I spent thousands at AG last year, and many more dollars at B&M stores and Amazon. Alas, life, ADD, and other pursuits get in the way. I think my last visit here was some time in January, around the time I started planning a trip to Asia.

What have I missed?

Are there new technologies? New, revolutionary products or procedures? When I last looked, MF systems were the new thing, expensive polymer coatings (Opti, etc.) were de rigueur, and Collinite 845 was still awesome. BFWD was becoming a must-try, as were all the no-rinse products. I notice BF has many more products available, including their own polymer coating -- at a price significantly lower than Opti and similar.

Please help me get back up to speed. My cars NEED this.

Coatings are still the rage; Blackfire does NOT have one, they do have a WOWA sealant now, though. MF pads are still growing, we now have Optimum and very shortly Lake Country along with the Meguiar's. There are more coatings and trim restorers here at AG now, the GTechniq line is here, and Solution Finish and DLUX trim restorers, along with a rumored coating for plastics from Optimum to debut next year.
