Just wanted to say hi and reintroduce myself. I'm Mike (known in these parts as RustyTruck) from Afterglow RV Auto Detailing. I have been off Autogeek for a while because last year business was really busy. This year looks even better with coatings really taking off. I will be asking some questions from some of the old timers and offering some advice on detailing and business to some of the young guys.

Glad to see you back! What do you contribute your current success to? I'm always looking to learn from guys in similiar places as me!
 
I'm fortunate to have very little competition. Also I'm part time so I can cherry pick (as other detailers say I do) my customers and cars. The more I raise my prices the better my customer base gets. Also after trying some of the higher priced coatings (both Finest and Opti pro) I added a more reasonably priced coating CQuartz UK and that seems to fit my market better. I see coating are going to be big for me this year. Plus my reputation is really starting to grow.
