I'm mad as heck! Dang it!

This morning I took my little girl to school. Got behind a school bus and something went bang. What the! Didn't see any thing until I washed my truck and look what I found. Chipped paint and a chipped out of my glass. This Suxs! I can put my fingernail in it.

ugh...i feel your pain....the first week i had my z i got a rock chip in the wondow that started to split the glass about five inches...luckily it is at the bottom of the glass and not really visible...make sure you get that chip glued up asap before it starts to split...
 
That sucks! On my way to work this morning A big'ol rock flew up from a truck a few cars ahead of me and struck my windshield. Luckily it didn't do any permanent damage, but it scared a bejesus out of me. I thought it left a permanent mark. Sorry to hear man.

If it makes you feel any better, I have a small rock chip on my front bumper. You try to be careful, and do the best you can. . . .

I hate rock chips :( oh well you can't completely avoid them. I'd rather have a rock chip on my windshield than my paint though! But you got both :(
 
I've go to nice rock chips on my hood and somebody ding'ed my door so hard it chipped the paint right off. So not only do you notice the dent, but right in the center the paint is chipped off.
 
suks sparkie !! I had my truck one week when this lady at work decided to cream my door with her HOOPTY. I was furious, but I got some touch-up paint and bite my lip every time I see her. It took a site wide email at work to get her to confess and she was a security guard watching the cameras !!!
 
Sorry to hear that spakie. I hate when something happens to my car that I have not control over. One time I was riding behind a truck and something feel off it and put a big dent in my hood. It definitely makes you mad.

Just think my truck is 2 years old, and as far as I know that's the only bad place I have in my paint. I've been lucky. Sorry to hear about yals. Yes this dose sucks.

:grouphug: :cheers: You know, when my car was only 3 weeks old it was hit in the parking lot over night and my back bumper and read hatch door were all smashed up. I never did find out who did it. $1,000 dollars worth of damage. :( Believe me, I feel your pain. :(
 
Sparkie I feel your pain...My truck was 1 years old and driving home from work I heard bang and tick...I looked over the truck while I was driving on the hood area..seen nothing..I got home to see a ding in the hood and a chip in the glass....chip was small ...ding is small also..I was pissed....but they are there....lucky me the paint did not chip..it must have hit just right..left a mar that came out..but the ding dd not..and the chip annoys me as I see it now ...now that I know it is there..small but I see it...

I picked up the Lanka repair kit, I thought it was worth a shot. I just need to order the paint. I'm afraid that little chip is going to become a big chip.
 
Sorry to hear that sparkie, yup yet another reason I own a rust bucket. You should see in the winters here. The City sand and salts (apparently they salt the streets now) and any time your switching lanes it's like someone is shooting at you with rocks hitting your window, bumper hood the entire front part of the vehicle. It's sad because you see brand new vehicles and the front is all beat up. Sorry my friend, hey you should try Toto's touch up process....remember his little rotary incident?

By the way hard to see the chip with all those flakes popping at you lol.

Sorry to hear about that sparkie.

Just last Saturday I walked out to move my car and noticed a fairly significant chip in my hood. Must have happened on Friday's commute. It's so frustrating to do everything you can to take care of your car only to have a rock come along and take off some paint.

I'm going to order some touch up paint and try out the Langka blob eliminator. Even if it doesn't come out perfect, I can't see it coming out looking worse.
 
Sorry to see that, Bro. I have many as well, and they make me really angry!
