Hello to all Autogeeks!
I am new to the forum as well as new to forums in general so please go easy on me as I adjust to the rules and regulations. I hope to be able to use this forum as a tool to create a knowledge-base to help me in my new career venture in the Auto Detailing and Auto Care products world. A few months back I officially decided to leave "Corporate America' in search of the "American Dream" and have started a, very small, part time (for now) auto detailing business. My background in detailing is fairly limited to detailing my cars as well as friends and family since before I could even drive. While detailing was never really a passion for me, cars and motorcycles always have been so one day while I was at the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction, here in Scottsdale, Arizona the light bulb went off in my head and I began my pursuit of knowledge in the detailing industry. Short of hours and hours of reading through forums as well as countless YouTube videos I have limited knowledge of detailing techniques, however as I researched I quickly realized that the only way I was going to learn was to get out there and do it.
I have been learning so much every day and I hope that I can reach out to all of you with questions so that I can continue to learn and grow as a professional detailier. Each day I become more passionate about automobiles and even more passionate about the art of detailing. I love how dynamic it is and how every vehicle seems to have it's own personality and what it "likes" and doesn't "like".
