Yes black on black.Real head turner.
I'd seal it with pinnacle XMT.

Perhaps a "test spot" with this XMT product on the matte stripes, in an inconspicuous area (if possible), should be performed.

The owner may not want the stripes' matte-appearance to change.
Just a thought.
