Immaculate Reflections - McLaren MP4-12C detail with full HD video

I got the opportunity to work on another 2012 McLaren MP4-12C from a wonderful client of mine and decided to make a video of the full process. I often get asked, "what exactly do you do?" Well this shows the start to finish process of a paint correction detail, about 11 hours of filming to make this short video.

A big thanks to my client for the use of his vehicle for the video and a big thanks to McLaren of San Francisco for the use of their facility and the wonderful hospitality they showed me. And also thanks to Recourse Media for the great job they did with the video.

Nice vid! Thanks for sharing. Can you explain what you were doing in the wash buckets though? Was that a washboard in there?

Man that video is sick. Several things that stand out to me. Lighting was great. Who manufactured then. Did you use multiple buffers instead of changing backing plates for larger pads? Noticed you used the Meg's MF system. Are you finding the pads wear well or changing them every panel to reduce heat? Are you following with a seperate wax? Normally the 2nd step of the Meg's MF system has polish/wax combo. For the spoiler and other smaller areas, did you use a 3 inch pad or have to hand polish those? How in the world did you get the dealer to loan you space to detail the vehicle. That almost never happens. Lastly, GREAT FREAKIN JOB!!!

Great vid. If that isn't a spot on marketing piece, I don't what is. I saw the MP4-12C two weeks in person, very cool car.
