I can't tell you how many
RED X's I've seen in my life because someone hosted their photos for FREE on Photobucket or Imageshack and then when they ran out of free hosting space they simply delete old pictures to make room for new pictures and then EVERYWHERE they posted pictures of their work turns into
RED X's.
Instead! How about learning how to upload your photos to the Autogeek gallery where they will never turn into
RED X's?
It's not that hard.
I wrote some article about it here,
How to articles for discussion forums
How-To Articles for interacting on our discussion forum, like how to upload a picture into your AG Photo Gallery.
I cringe every time I see pictures posted on Photobucket or Imageshack shared on this forum and in fact some of you know that I've actually placed your photos into you galleries here because the photos were important to the thread and I didn't want to see them turn into red x's.
If you're going to use Photobucket then maybe become a paying member and get some real space with your account.
It's really not that hard to learn how to resize your photos to a "Normal" viewing size, which is 800 pixels wide so you don't make your reader have to horizontal scroll in order to see the entire picture.
After you resize them, then upload them to the gallery, there's a how to article in the link above that walks you through how to do this even though it's really not that hard.
After you upload your photos then you can insert them into your message instead of attaching them as a thumbnail.
Again, none of this is very hard especially if you can read and follow basic directions and then you're photos will be preserved in the thread you post for potentially eternity instead of turning into
X's because you delete them out of your Photobucket account someday down the road.
