A customer has 2005 Ram 1500 SRT-10 Viper powered 4 Door Pick-up With hard tonneu cover in black with 10,000 miles on it, I washed it last week and as I was drying it he asked what these marks were that were all over his truck. I proceeded to educate him in the subject of swirls and halograms. Hence he gave me the job
Here's some before pics.....

And I hope to get a lesson in posting pics to this forum by the best pic-poster on here......I'll let you guess

Wash 2 bkt method PinnBS
Claybar w/Pinn XMT Yellow-PinnCL
M205 via Griots RO w/LC-CCS orange
Pinn LS on w/Griots Hand buff off

oh yeh.......14 HOURS

Nice work I hope you gave him a lesson on how to wash the awesome truck . People who don't know how to care for there cars should not be allowed to own black . What did he wash it with a red shop rag & the some dirty from the driveway and probably some Dawn. Nice work Rob

Wow obviously your client used sand as the "soap" medium...
Fantastic job on the fix, very nice

customer owns this truck since new, about 2 years ago he had some guy do a "DITECH" job on it....not sure what that is and he said it looked great after. Than about a year ago he was recommended to a mobile detailer in our area who "buffed it" to a perfect shine, yeh right.
about a month ago I started washing his cars..300/SRT-8-black, Escalade-black and Ram-black. He really never washes his own car that I know of. So now that I fixed his problem, of course I get to fix them all now.
Does anyone know what DITECH is?

A great place for low price home mortages?

Also great job, thats a beautiful truck! Though single cab 6spd would have been even betteR! Also what did you use for the tires? Nice satin look, and such a perfectly uniform application to the tire...

I use black magic tire dressing applied by sponge. I cut a 5"x7"x1.5"
sponge into 3 equal pieces and spray dressing onto flat edge of sponge (2-3 sprays), do all tires once than go over a second time without adding more dressing. This seems to be the cleanest way without getting dressing all over the vehicle or rims. I always drive the vehicle around the parking lot to even out the edge of the dressing for a clean look

As for DITECH.....some guy came into town about a year ago, set up at a local performance shop for a week and did a bunch of cars. From what I was told it's kinda expensive (like $600) the guy was from Orlando and even put an emblem on the truck (see tailgate pic) next to SRT-10 Emblem. Looks kinda like a country flag. He said it was a procedure that was developed and used in europe. Probably BS.

Thanks for the compliments

Excellent extreme makeover Robert, not only will you get this guys car collection but all his car buddies via word-of-mouth-advertising.

I downloaded two of your photos and placed them into your gallery so I could post them full size next to one another, I'll come over to your shop one of these days and show you a few tips and tricks for working with photos on forums. I'm also learning some new software to enable me to make screen capture videos to make tutorials on these kinds of topics.

thanks mike, coming from you that means alot....I hate thumbnails

It's sad that a truck with that many miles would have already been tampered with. Hopefully he won't change detailers again. Good job.

It's nice to see the level of correction you achieved with just the 205. Impressive for sure. Great detail.
