Just ordered some stuff and figured I'd check in, seem to do that every few years now lol. Just got DP Poli-Coat Sealant, Megs Ultimate Compound/Polish combo, Duragloss FCS, gallon of ARO, Optimum Opti Clean and Protectant, DP leather cleaner and conditioner, Optimum Tire Shine spray, some new Lake Country thin pads and backing plate (never did like larger pads on the PC), Optimum Car Wash, Prima Clay lube, and some Optimum Opti Clay. Im the MAN :buffing: :righton:

I actually just got divorced last week hahaha, so my other wife left? damn .... 'tis ok, as friends husbands are saying these past months their all living vicariously through me... though I calmed down now Im the MAN

Ha, ex wife's car now. I didn't wash or do anything to it in months. She's like can you detail it, was Ike you figure it out. Car was filthy when I kicked her out lol and covered in hard water spots baked on from sitting in South FL sun.
 
I feel like every time I pop in ever few years, car detailing/products have completely changed. So many advances. Scrolling through checking stuff out. Still like that there are solid "older" go to products around like what I ordered.

Found a bottle of the Opti Poli Seal in my garage, think its ok after 3 years? Think I still have klasse aio, have to look.

btw did you still live down here? can't remember if I lived near you now, in east Pompano on the water. Thought you lived around or or near? Neighbor has a black C6 like yours, been meaning to ask him what exhaust he's running now as it sounds more like an exotic, have never heard an LS engine sound like his, def sounds like full headers and exhaust maybe no cats.
 
I am indeed still in South Florida ... Coral Springs/Coconut Creek area. I work in Boca.

I sold the Vette last year as it literally was a garage queen. It has 12k original miles. The newer owner wanted it exactly as it was with toys, tune, and wheels. He was extremely nice and met my price without issue. He and father took it up North. Money has been parked in the market for a new Z06 at some point in the future. I had a Stingray allocation but decided to give it away once the Z06 Convertible was suggested.

Sorry to hear about the marriage. I hope you are well and moving in the right direction to make yourself happy. Life is short .... way too short.
 
Hey Surfer what up bro ham, I got divorced a few years back myself. Took all my detailing stuff with me lol, wash your own car (insert vulgar word here)

Gotcha. Hate Boca after being raised there lol, love Pompano least east Pompano haha. Next is boat as my dock is lonely and another car, like to do a build on like a '66/67 Chevelle. Unfortunately you pay for waterfront here, not garage space so I'm screwed there, 1 1/2 garage that can barely fit a car, couldn't afford this in Boca would literally be about double the cost. Where in Boca do you work? I'm always up there to see my mom, and to eat at Tucci lol.

Yup 33 and way happier now, especially once I made her get the rest of her stuff out... so much nicer in the pad myself and no stress lol. Calmed down now though, and back to gym and eating better, I was literally out like every day and night.... friends husbands were living vicariously through me :laughing:
