Thanks for looking! :dblthumb2:

Very nice turnaround, especially on that rear bumper! I am curious as to how you use the DP Roadkill Bug Remover...do you mix a capful in with the wash or pre-treat using the spray bottle then continue washing?

1:1 Mixed with distilled water.

I sprayed the entire front bumper, front half of the hood, side mirrors and part of the fenders down, let it dwell for 2-3 minutes, then used a bug sponge to clean everything up.

Foamed the car down, 2-bucket washed, rinsed, sprayed it down with iron-x, foamed down again and rinsed, speedy prep towel, foamed down again, then final rinse.

Here is my review of the product: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...-review-detailer-s-road-kill-bug-remover.html

Wow, the fg400 really finishes nicely! How are you liking the detailer's paint coating? I've thought about going with it.

It's easy to work with and apply. The results have been amazing for such little effort it is so apply. I was skeptical at first, because literally all you do is give a panel a spray or two then apply in a criss cross fashion with a foam applicator pad. Then lightly buff the panel to level everything.

It's suppose to last up to 2 years, so I'm not sure if it needs to be polished off or dawned to be removed?

Amazing results! They're jaws Must've dropped when they came to pick itup! what machine/pad combo was used?

Flex 3401, Lake County Hybrid White Polishing Pad, Speed setting 6, 3 passes with firm pressure then 2 with just the weight of the machine.

Still took 3-4 hours to polish out.

I also used this same combo on the tail lights and tried it on the headlights but nothing happened to the headlights, maybe a slight amount of oxidation was removed but nothing to talk about.

I hope it holds up. It seems to be very easy to apply, and a lot of guys are starting to use it. I was about to pull the trigger but started seeing a lot of skepticism about it, mainly on non AG forums.

I'd like to see a good durability test review on it.

Beautiful end product :props:

Q1. What other products did you use in your testspot?

Q2. Do you feel that FG400 had a significant role in taking 3-4 hours to polish out...or is that normal for your one step?

What I'm asking is if the FG added to your timeline?

Thanks!

It was my first combo choice and I used the same combo on an escape the day before.

I like to work slow (taking my time), and I did an IPA wipe down after each panel. I included taping the car off in that time which took a solid 30 minutes.

Also coated it with Detailer's Paint Coating.

I've had nothing but good results with FG400 so I usually try that first for my 1 step polish.
