I was lucky enough to be one of the ones that got the new DP line of aerosol products sent to them! I just used the following last weekend for the first time. Anytime I use a new product I try to use it under varying conditions before I form a solid impression about it. Here are my initial thoughts on the Trim detailer.
Detailer’s Pro Series Trim Detailer, exterior trim spray, black plastic trim spray, molding spray

I washed my truck and noticed that the Autofiness Revive that I applied a few weeks ago was pretty faded. Time for a boost of shine and protection.

Finished the rail and removed the tape, this was about 30 minutes later, notice how its still not dry.

I thought I would give the trim detailer a test on my tonneau cover that was treated at the same time as my side steps

Tape pulled, again about 30 mins later, still not dry

I didnt wipe either of these sections as I wanted to see what kind for shine it had, what I did notice is that it took a VERY long time for the trim detailer to dry. Im not sure if something in the previous product was left behind that kept the DP from soaking in or what it was. Here are shots from these sections 2 days later, I never wiped them just to see how long it would take to dry

As you can see, lots of dust, bugs, ect has collected.

I intended to clean these areas with an APC then retest, Im not giving up on this product yet. I also intend to spray and wipe to see what kind for shine is left behind. From a few other reviews that I have read this doesnt seem to be a common problem.

It did rain on it a little, seems to have held up well after the small rain shower to boot.

Ill report back when I try this product again.

Thanks for the honest write-up. I wiped immediately and was very pleased with the results but do prefer a matte look. Am looking forward to your follow-up.

If it's anything like the other aerosol detailers, don't wait for it to dry. I have sprayed other products and allowed them to "dry" overnight and they were still just as wet. A quick wipe with a cotton terry towel or micro fiber towel and the area will look as good as new. Thanks for the review.

What I found strange is that in the product video, Mike showed using it on tires but on the can, the only place it references using it on rubber is where it says "for door jambs not made of rubber".

So is it safe to use on rubber?

Thanks for the review! I don't think I will be buying this anytime soon . . .

What trim polish do you prefer? I have to do the trim on my truck as well and was researching what products to use. I prefer more of a dull finish vs. shiny. Thanks for posting this since this was one product I considered purchasing.
