Introduction:

I received a surprise package from Nick this week containing new Pinnacle products.

I use waterless washes on every detail but rarely wash a car with them. But I find them invaluable for door and trunk jambs, bird bombs, waterspots and the occasional car wash. I like the total control I have of the spray and they clean, lightly protect and generally make short work of these generally neglected areas. (Customers are often impressed when they open the door and don't know why.)

I didn't waterless wash the car this time - just the door and trunk jambs - but pretty much do the same thing.

Observations:

Best I can tell, Pinnacle Liquid Crystal Waterless Wash has a very pleasant fragrance. Cleans well without marring.

See:

I haven't applied a sealant to my door jambs in close to a year. (I know... I am a hack. ) Amped up the gloss nicely.

Does it meet its claims? Yes.

Pros:

1.- Very fast application
2.- Beautiful finish
3.- Cleans very well.

Cons:

1.- None I've found.

Final Observations and Summary:

Not sure what else I can say about this. Pinnacle Liquid Crystal Waterless Wash is really, really good. I have no complaints and would definitely use again.

But after using the other new Pinnacle products, I was kind of expecting this.

I will also says this: every Pinnacle Natural Brilliance product I have ever used has been top-notch. These new additions definitely live up to the reputation - and may even push it higher.

So far i've found at least two senior member already gave their review on this product, yet I still confuse what the difference between this Liquid Crystal Waterless and Liquid Gloss Rinseless??

From what I read, Liquid Crystal Waterless is sort of a QD with great cleaning ability, while Liquid Gloss Rinseless is somewhat similar to Duragloss Rinseless w/ aquawax, ONR, and others type rinseless shampoo.

Might want to hear from Nick....

Considerably more solution is used in a rinseless wash. Waterless product are have more polymers to encapsulate the dirt because they don't have the added water to help protect the paint. And because polymers cost more than water, WW are considerably more expensive to use. But, you don't need a bucket.

To me, the greater the solution, the greater the amount of dirt I can remove. I will tackle much dirtier vehicles with a rinseless wash than a waterless. In my spectrum of uses:

QD - freshly washed car
WW - dusty to very lightly dirty
Rinseless - dirty (add foaming and pressure rinse to attack even dirtier)
Traditional - very dirty.
