Intervention .... Help Needed

Killr, the trick to dealing with a woman is to just tell her it was all on sale. Tell her it was 50% off for one week only and you had been researching the prices for a long time beforehand so when you saw what a deal it was you had to get it. Tell her it was just too good a deal to pass up and that you are actually saving the family money by buying it now rather than later. And then tell her with the money that you saved you want to take her out to dinner to a nice restaurant where she can dress up and wear her diamonds. If that doesn't work, then God help you my friend! :)

Oh and PS, this is tax free week so by buying it now you save even more money on taxes so you can cover the baby sitter for your date night out! Don't forget to get her flowers!! ;)

Yes, Kilr--Lying comes highly recommended. This has been the secret to my last 16 years of bachelorhood.

Their burgers rule. Did you ever have the Blue Moon beer they have on draft, kinda looks like orange juice and they even serve it with an ornage slice, that is one potent beer. 3-4 Coronas and get a nice little buzz, 2 of those Blue Moons one night and I really felt it:D . Our waiter was a big guy, 6'3" and ripped, said he had 4 one night and was fawked LOL.

So where did you get the DQ stuff, Carquest, or ordered it?

LOL I guess it helps that I'm cute too and a good cook. I'm a lousy housekeeper though. I'd much rather work on my car! ;)

Pros:
  • You're willing to spend 5 hours a day cooking
  • You love to wash, polish, and wax cars
  • You like to watch car shows such as Overhaulin'
Cons:
  • You can't clean a house properly
Hmm...the one con can easily be fixed by a $50 a week cleaning lady.

What's next...you tease all of us married guys by saying you would prefer to sit and watch football on Sundays instead of shopping at the mall? ;)

LOL I never go to beauty salons either although I don't know if this would be considered a pro or a con! :p My hair is really long so I just flip it over and brush it and cut it myself. NUTS RIGHT?? LOL All my money goes to detailing supplies. I HATE shopping at the mall, but I don't like to watch football either. LOL I'm a soccer, baseball and basketball girl! lol I'm such a horrible representation of my sex! lol

My wife is a stay at home mommie .... so her friends are the UPS, Fedex, and DHL drivers. They now know to honk once for my packages and twice for hers.

Yes I decided to revisit the Duragloss products since I originally had samples. Also wanted to see what their bonding agent and Aluminum Wheel Brighter was about. Zymol was a splurge with a friend, seems we both wanted to see what the new Ital was like against the previous version. (its been upgraded) She made me put the Zymol Glasur back since that looked all to much like Souveran for twice the price.

Whatcha gonna do .... just got back from J Alexanders from dinner and heading out to wash the truck. As long as she does NOT call Jason, I am in the gold.

I'm glad to see your gonna give DG a try for yourself. You have an honest opinion on products nomatter where or what brand so i do respect your opinions. I will be looking foward to your thoughts.

Well, I'll take a soccer, baseball, basketball girl over the SoapNet any day! My wife is addicted to that channel. I bust her chops all the time. I am a big time DIY'er. She always compliments me on how I am able to figure things out (landscaping, auto care, carpentry, etc.). She asks me all the time how I did figure out how to X.

I jokingly reply, "Well, I didn't learn that watching SoapNet." :D

Now how about a pic of you detailing your car with those long locks of hair blowing in the Florida breeze? :awesome:

I say it's time for us to start a "Pic of yourself" thread....let's put some faces to the names.

reminds me of something:

You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a 'drop off' (The ground is 18-20 inches below the level you are traveling on), and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you. In front of you is a galloping horse which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is another galloping horse. Both horses are also traveling at the same speed as you. What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?

UG!! I DETEST soap operas!! My oldest sister was addicted to General Hospital, Ryans Hope, The Young and The Restless and All My Children when I was growing up! I was only a kid but even back then I had the sense to know that those shows were crap! I don't know how people can watch American Soap Operas. At least the spanish language ones end after a couple of months and then you get a new show, but the American ones go on for ever and ever!! The only soap opera I ever watched that I actually liked was Betty La Fea. That show was freakin hilarious! And even with that one I started getting sick of Don Armando getting drunk all the time and crying over Betty. It was like, enough already man! But that show was pretty funny on the whole.:p I like DIY stuff too. Almost everything I read is a book on teaching myself to do something. Right now I am reading Auto Repairs for Dummies. It's a good book! I highly recommend it for people like me who don't know much about what goes on under the hood, but would like to learn. I would love to learn how to build stuff. But me being the mommy it's up to me to take care of the kids, keep the food coming on time, get the laundry clean and put away, and get the messes all picked up. That leaves me hardly any time at all for anything else except to hang out here a bit each day and to read a little in my book. Pero que voy hacer? Asi es la vida de una mujer, no? Al menos tengo mis hijos. :)

Ay, I have only one pic of me on the computer that a friend of mine put on and that's because I'm too retarded to do it myself. (That'll be my next DIY book--computers for dummies lol) It's a really bad pic though and it's pretty old too. I plan on coming to detail fest this coming year so I'm sure Meghan will be taking pics. :)
