Has anyone successfully used iron x on bare aluminum wheels? I searched and couldn't really find anything. On the product page, it states that it should not be used on bare metals. I just picked up some polished aluminum wheels and wanted to decontaminate them before I polish them.

A+ Answer, that finishes this thread haha.

Thanks for the help! Did you find that description on carpro's website?

I used the Iron-X soap on my wheels (uncoated) without issue. I did tread lightly and used on barrels specifically before coating.

Yeah I mainly need to use it on the barrels. Everything else looks great and is all polished up.
