When using Iron X do you do the glass, try to avoid the glass or doesn't it matter?

Thanks guys. Impressed with what it removed especially from the back windo of my wife's mini van. Also happy to see the rest if the car and wheels were not so bad. How long does it take for the smell to go away? I have a heated garage and keep opening the doors to try and air it out.
