so i purchased iron x and literally i had the bottle in my room for 45 minutes, never opened it once, and my whole room smells so bad. I forgot to say its been 2 days too... i dont know what the put in iron-x but it is so horribly bad smelling and somehow gets out of a bottle.... im afraid to use the stuff until i purchase some kind of riot gas mask and gloves that are bullet proof

O boy. I just received my first bottle. I may have to seal in another container and place in the garage. Does Iron X freeze?

sounds like it's best to keep that stuff in the garage, in a cupboard, in a box, in a bag ....well you know sealed up.

The Lemon Scent is 3% better than the Cherry. Whoever thinks that smells like Cherries is delusional.

Only Sonax FE is worse.

I keep mine inside of two Zip-Loc bags.

Unfortunately, both products are best in class according to the Forum.

I have Z1 Colourtech arriving on Monday to try out.

I have mine in the laundry room, where I keep my detailing stuff, inside a plastic bag inside a tub (tub has all of my 'occasional use' stuff, like the DA, pads, etc.)

It's definitely smelly. I balance it out with the Chemical Guys Pina Colada scent that leaked out of the lid of the bottle and I never cleaned the bottle up :)

The sulfur smell will go away quickly as long the source is closed-off. Seems like you have some seepage from the product.

Although Iron X is worse smelling, Sonax wheel cleaner smells pretty bad, and I thought it was funny when I read "with lemon scent" on the back of the bottle, after using that stuff for years without knowing they added scent I have never smelled any lemons.

I have had mine on the entry way table for a couple days since I received it with no problems. The smell is bad though. I've had to open it three times just to smell it, and quickly reseal. Smells like hair perm to me.

I love the product and hate the smell, saves me hours of claying. I've noticed it's all about rinsing and washing anything it comes in contact, even a driveway or shop floor. If your storing it, wrap it in lots of food wrap and zip lock bags. good luck.

lol.. It smells horrible, but it works great! I surely love using it.

You guys putting it in zip loc bags must have a leak because I have never had that problem. However, I did spray it on my door jambs and some got in the interior of my car and that smelled bad for days.
