Can you use IronX like Yvan shows using their iron remover? That is using one spray on the clay towel and one spray on a panel per panel.

You can.....if that is your goal to do an iron decon/clay......saves time

Are you planning on polishing? I don't think that would give enough lubrication to prevent marring.
That’s what I was worried about. He makes a big deal about the surfactants and lubricants in the DIY version.

I've never tried it with either. I usually just wash normal then clay towel right behind the wash mitt. Give it a try and let us know how it does!
Didn’t pick up any DIY because I have a lot of IronX sitting around. Probably won’t risk it. Paint on the Bronco appears very good so I’ll avoid correction if I can.

I would think with CarPro having their own clay lube I wouldn’t. You could iron remove, snow foam then clay, then rinse.

I’ll probably do a test spot to see if it’s even necessary. I usually don’t get much reaction at all to iron removers here. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to attempt what I asked about. I’ll probably try to use up a spray bottle of Dodo Juice clay lube I have (and have had for a long while) with my clay towel.

Perhaps a dumb idea but could you add some IronX to a clay lube or vice versa?
