This early summer Ceramic Saturday was spent working on an amazing VW CC for my friend Paul! Paul came to me as a referral last year from a friend who maintains the vehicle from a mechanical perspective and knows it inside and out. Last year I completed a full deep clean and conditioning of the interior from top to bottom, and this year it was time to get the outside to match.
He brought back this 2014 VW CC in a stunning light brown metallic color, almost champagne-like when the sun hits it just right. With 137k miles, the car was in great shape thanks to Paul's meticulous care, but it did have its fair share of swirls from traditional car washes.
My mission was to restore and enhance this beauty! I performed a full paint correction, removing the swirls and imperfections and bringing the finish to better-than-new perfection. I also applied some great ceramic coatings to the paint, glass, wheels, and trim pieces like the windshield cowling and rear valance. The result?
Paul was absolutely thrilled with the transformation, and I'm so proud of the outcome. Included are some pictures of the outcome and before pictures of the gloss black pillars to show the damage car washes can inflict.
Thanks to Matt for his continued trust in my work and for sending me referrals, and to Paul for doing the same. This is another example that age and miles are just numbers, as today's vehicles are pretty resilient and can be brought back with the right processes and products.
