Xtreme Solutions Topper is one of my favorite Toppers/Drying Aids. I have read here on this forum that Adam's Slick N Slide is basically made by the same company and is the same product, so I ordered some. For those of you who have tried both, is the Adams product indeed just like Topper? Does it perform the same?

I ask because in some reviews of the Adams product, some people claimed to experience some streaking, but I never experienced that with Topper.

Thank you,
Joe

I think my feedback would be: if Topper is working for you and you enjoy it and it get results, who cares if another product is similar?

Or, just try it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were made by the same blender.

Topper, Slick n Slide, Obsessed Garage Drying aid are all blended by B&B (Recochem owns B&B and Adam’s)

The product under B&B is called slipstream. It’s said that there the same but there could be minor differences between brands.

As mentioned, Topper / Slick & Slide / OG Drying Aid are all blended by B&B Blending. Color and scent are what differentiate them.

I haven't used Topper but have used the other two. The OG version is not scented or colored, but they are otherwise the same to work with.

My bottle of Adams Slick n Slide purchased in July 2020 was nothing like the bottle of Topper I bought in May 2022. Adams wasn't nearly as slick and I was very disappointed with the user experience at the time. Its been on my shelf ever since.

Phoenix EOD Titan and Ethos Pro Shine are both variations of B&B Slipstream.

IIRC they both used the same pdf form for the SDS and forgot to change one of the pdf headers. It still said Slipstream as the product name.

To the op yes they are variations of the same base product b7b slip stream.

Phoenix EOD Titan and Ethos Pro Shine are both variations of B&B Slipstream.

IIRC they both used the same pdf form for the SDS and forgot to change one of the pdf headers. It still said Slipstream as the product name.

Aron from Phoenix EOD reached out to me when I said Titan was a variation of slip stream. He then told me it was not the same.

I love using Phoenix Titan. I just ran out! :( Its one of the best smelling products I've ever used. Super slick, easy to use, smells amazing.

Some more observations -

For Adam's Slick & Slide, the scent is what grabs you first, a fruity "tropical" mashup that to me is extremely pleasant. It applies and wipes so easily. The yellow colouring will stain the bottle, so keep that in mind if you are using a nice spray bottle.

The same bottle staining is apparent with Ethos Pro Shine, the strong purple colouring is probably a touch overdone. Again, the fruity scent is strong, although different to Slick & Slide. Again, a product that wipes and spreads easily with minimal wiping to achieve a streak free finish. I do feel like Pro Shine and Slick & Slide have a stickier feel to them, something I put down to the colouring and scents.

And then the most different of all of these, Obsessed Garage Drying Aid. Devoid of a scent and colouring, this stuff doesn't quite have the same lubricated feel, but then it requires even less working to achieve a nice finish. The lack of colouring won't stain your nice bottles either.

Which you choose comes down to price and preference to scents, I don't think you would be unimpressed with any of them. All can be used as standalone protection, as a drying aid (despite what Adam's say), can be used on glass/paint/rubber/plastic, and can be teamed with existing waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings.
